Description:
Our Bedouin Tour is a Jeep expedition through the Wadi Rum Nature Reserve with its highlights and attractions including: Ancient ruins of a Nabataean temple. Lawrence’s Spring, named after T.E. Lawrence (Lawrence of Arabia), who spoke with so much concern during the Arab uprising. You can also climb the rock formation where the spring gushes out of the mountain and offers one of the best views of the desert landscape. The Jabel Khazali Canyon is a 15-minute tour of the canyon walls adorned with ancient inscriptions and paintings by the Nabataeans and Thamuds. See the stone map, an ancient map engraved in stone walls that provides clues to passers-by on the direction of camel caravans. Head to Wadi Um Ishrin’s red sand dunes and sandboard if you wish. Jebel Anafishiya, where you can admire Nabatean rock inscriptions dating back 2,500 years. Lawrence’s House, where legend claims he stayed during the uprising. Barrauh Canyon serves lunch under the shadow of the cliffs. After lunch, you can hike 1 to 2 kilometers in the canyon if you wish. Visit the famous mushroom, which owes its name to the natural formation of rocks that has formed over the years. Adventure in the Al Mahama Canyon. A self-guided trail where you are deposited at one end and taken again at the other. Continue to the Jebel Burdah Rock Bridge, the highest natural bridge in Wadi Rum and a great opportunity to take pictures! Follow the Um Fruth bridge (about 20 m high), a pleasure for the crowd that allows a very pleasant and satisfying ascent and another great opportunity to take pictures. Continue through Wadi Kashkasheh Canyon to see the most famous mountain of Wadi Rum. Relax on a huge red sand dune and enjoy the legendary Wadi Rum sunset with Bedouin tea. After sunset, head to the campsite where you can enjoy a delicious traditional Bedouin dinner with sweet Bedouin tea around the campfire before retiring to your comfortable tent tent. Optional activities include camel tours below.

Star watch after dinner! Let yourself be mesmerized by the clarity of the night sky with millions of glittering stars, including the Milky Way. You may even have the chance to catch a star snake and make a wish. Camping is free to walk and walk freely, although it is easy to get lost in the dark.

Day 1:
Arrived in the village of Wadi Rum at 9:30 am, our visits begin at 10:00 am. If you would like to arrive later, we are pleased to fulfill your wishes. Please tell us that.
Day 2:
If you have not planned any other activities, leave the campsite at 8:30 the next morning.
Meeting point: Our guide will be waiting for you at the entrance to the village of Wadi Rum, about 6 km from the visitor center after entering the protected area. Guests arriving by car must park in the parking lot of the Rest House at the entrance to the village. They are picked up from there and taken to our offices , also in the village. We will go through the itinerary with you in detail and answer all your questions or concerns.

 

The following is included:
  • All meals – breakfast, lunch and dinner.
  • Mineral water, Bedouin tea and other liquid refreshments throughout the tour.
  • Combination of Jeep and short walking tours.
  • An English-speaking driver and guide.
  • Accommodation in a private tent cabin prepared with beds, linens and blankets. Tent and bed configurations can be specially requested, though not guaranteed.
