The Jabel Khazali Canyon is a 15-minute tour of the canyon walls adorned with ancient inscriptions and paintings by the Nabataeans and Thamuds. See the stone map, an ancient map engraved in stone walls that provides clues to passers-by on the direction of camel caravans. Head to Wadi Um Ishrin’s red sand dunes and sandboard if you wish. Jebel Anafishiya, where you can admire Nabatean rock inscriptions dating back 2,500 years. Lawrence’s House, where legend claims he stayed during the uprising. Barrauh Canyon serves lunch under the shadow of the cliffs. After lunch, you can hike 1 to 2 kilometers in the canyon if you wish.
